Lent Issue of Waiapu News now available on line
21 February
The latest issue of Waiapu News, due to be available in parishes on the first Sunday in March (the 4th), is now available on line on the Waiapu website. It includes stories on the new Ruahine missional ministry team as they develop a vision for the future, it touches on how Waiapu is exploring ways of working more fully with our Maori sister and brother Anglicans; it introduces our new youth interns, Leo Te Kira’s new roles in the Diocese, stories on Parachute, on St Francis Clive and the local bikies, on an historic cross returned to the Diocese by Lady Reeves, how Seasons / Growing Through Grief is growing and growing.
Waiapu News schedule changed to suit parishes
If Waiapu News is delivered to people’s homes with the parish magazine, then more people get to read Waiapu News.
With this thought in mind, we have decided to change the schedule for Waiapu News from the next issue. Until now, it has normally been delivered to parishes a few days before the first Sunday of the month.
As from next issue, we will be delivering it to parishes a few days before the last Sunday of the month. For example, the May issue will arrive mid week before Sunday 29 April. This will allow those parishes that send out parish magazines to include copies of Waiapu News each time they are published.
The rest of this year’s issues will be published just prior to May, July, September, December.
