Co-operative Parish of Turangi

The Co-operative Parish of Turangi is a small Parish with no resident minister but a strong Parish Council. Worship varies according to the traditions involved and weekly services can be from one of the three co-operating denominations. While the congregation tends to be older, with many people moving into the area to retire, there are often younger people and travellers worshiping with us.  The church welcomes many local holiday home owners who attend regularly as well as an increasing number of tourists from all parts of the world, particularly young people, who are walking the world famous Tongariro Crossing.
